Ome.tv - Memorable Moment at KPTM Ipoh
On December 1st, 2021, I officially became a student of KPTM Ipoh. Although it was only online because quarantine was still strict at the time. It was enjoyable, albeit awkward, because I am not good at socializing, particularly in terms of making friends. Still, there are moments that I hope to remember until the end of time. One of those moments was when my friend Nabil introduced me to a website called Ome.tv.
For context, Nabil is an extroverted person who is willing to do something stupid for the sake of making others laugh. There were times when he would turn on his camera on Discord just to show him cooking a burger in the middle of the night. One day, when I noticed that he was sharing his screen on Discord with some of our classmates, I decided to join them. On the screen was him, talking with a random stranger in broken Indonesian. I was surprised that there are other websites that have a similar concept to Omegle.com. It seemed interesting, so I decided to stick around.
One of the people that Nabil talked to was a guy from Greece. The conversation began with him insulting Nabil in English. In turn, Nabil insulted the guy's mother in broken English. They kept insulting each other back and forth, back and forth, until Nabil skipped him because he was running out of ideas for what to say.
There was also one woman that Nabil kept running into. Through the whole night, they ran into each other five times. My classmates and I kept joking that Nabil should ask for her number, which he did, but he changed his mind afterwards, which I do not believe.
