My Memorable Moment At KPTM Ipoh

 

December 1st, 2021, is a date that I will forever remember as it is the day I became a student at KPTM Ipoh College, where I took my first step into a higher education institution. Even though my education was online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are still memorable moments that are close to my heart. I took a course diploma in animation as I found it quite interesting and wanted to learn more in depth about how to make animations and the history of animation. Despite the fact that it is an online class, I managed to bond and make new friends that took the same course as I did. I'm more of an extrovert. I like talking with people and learning new things, but all the while I just stay silent in class, making some assume that I'm an introvert because I don't talk much. This is because I tend to focus in class rather than play around. Before becoming a student, I had prior experience in drawing as I took art class while in high school, even with the knowledge and experience, i still find learning new things fun and memorable just as i did learning to draw antonomy ,human face and others.

The most memorable moments that are truly memorable are the fun and laughter my friends made while entertaining the lectures during bored time, as it helped break the silence and helped most of us take a break from tense focus on the subject. Other than that, we did a lot of ice-breaking activities that introduced each of us and got to know our friends' names. 

We have a discord server where we watch movies every Friday and talk when we have time. This helps us bond and get to know each other better when time gives us the opportunity to do so. Even in discord, we do our work assignments by asking each other for help with a question or lack of understanding of what to do. Even though we might have moments in the virtual world, we are eager to meet each other in the 3rd semester this July. Hopefully, things will go well so we will be able to have a fun and create more memorable time together.
